iBUYPOWER Core i7/GTX 285

Here is something the gaming addicts are going to like. Welcome the iBUYPOWER Core i7/GTX 285 gamer supreme, the dream of any PC gamer. This advanced PC packs a punch with a quad-core Intel Core i7 processor, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 285 and 6GB of RAM (and a 64-bit version of Vista to take advantage of all of that). Buy yourself a nice high-res monitor, and you’ve got a solid combo that should be able to play today’s demanding games with all the bells on.

The Gamer Supreme is actually almost piece-for-piece identical to a system I just built myself, and for around the same price. I’ve been spending some quality time with the likes of Dawn of War 2, Empire: Total War and Far Cry 2 with the settings all the way up and no problems at all.

The 928i is being offered only through Newegg. As of this post, we couldn’t purchase the 928i, though iBUYPOWER assures us that it’s shipped its inventory, and the Supreme should show up in a day or two at most, if not tonight.

Logitech G19 Gaming Keyboard

What is hard to understand is why gamers need a special kind of keyboard to enjoy their gaming needs. Normally, a conservative PC owner would be wary of hitting the keys as hard as they can and use the traditional PC towards hardcore games. Apparently, to understand that need and to satisfy the demands, specialized keyboards are being manufactured such as this one from popular brand Logitech.

The Logitech G19 is the latest gaming keyboard from Logitech and the follow up to the successful G15. Whereas the G15 had a orange backlit LCD with nothing but monochrome content, the G19 gets a full-blown color LCD for watching video and showing game stats. If you are an avid gamer looking for a new and cool gaming keyboard, the Logitech G19 may be just what you want.

The Logitech G19 is packed with features including a tiltable color LCD called the GamePanel that sports a resolution of 320 x 240. The keys are backlit and the user can choose which keys are lit and which aren’t for a completely custom layout in a dark environment. Logitech designed the G19 so that it could accept input from five keys simultaneously.

If you have the scratch lying around to spend on the G19, it is hands down the coolest gaming keyboard that Logitech has ever produced. The G19 is equally at home gaming or typing your latest term paper and it looks really cool sitting on the desk as well.

Bella HD Mouse

Normally, a mouse would not really be given much attention. As long as it aids the PC user in the proper interface to be able to perform necessary tasks in the gaming and work sector, nothing else really matters. But this new mouse, the Bella HD mouse seems to offer something different for the avid gamer and graphic editor users.

Bella bills this wireless RF pointing device as an HD Mouse, but its neat trick is not in its 1600 dots-per-inch rez or 3000 frames-per-second response. Aimed at video editors, it gives you gestural control, so when you move your wrist forward and back, or left to right (x and y axis), you can intuitively jog-shuttle through video clips.

Working on Macs and PCs, Bella’s software lets you create 20 presets for each piece of software you’re running, giving you lots of opportunities for customization of its five buttons. With its 20-foot range that can go through walls, we’re thinking of its possibilities with a home theater PC, shuttling through clips to find just the right spot, or programming in a volume control.

Acrylic Cowboy PC Case

Normally, PC owners would want their internal peripherals such as the processor, motherboard and the hard disks to be properly installed and hidden inside the traditional PC casing. However, this casing is somewhat different. Normally we would see the casings coming in the transparent casing but this Acrylic Cowboy PC case certainly goes way beyond that. It exposes the actual parts and surely allows you to see how your computer peripherals are functioning.

Forget sleek aluminum monoliths from Lian-Li or Antec: this is where minimalism is about more than just looking pretty. The Acrylic Cowboy, previously a hard to find oddity, is now available in the U.S. for $76. It holds ATX and Micro-ATX motherboards, power supplies, and peripherals.

Just enough to hold your Motherboard (ATX and Micro ATX), your Power Supply, HDD and ODD, these Acrylic PC Case are extremely popular among Japanese Geeks. With the strict minimum this new DC-ACPCDP/B, give you on top of the basic ATX / Micro ATX 2 LED and a power OFF/ON, a reset button and one holder to carry around your setting.

Toshiba Satellite Pro S300-EZ2521Laptop

Toshiba comes out with another great laptop to consider getting. Toshiba added to their S300 line today with their Satellite Pro S300-EZ2521. It’s a perfectly decent laptop, but doesn’t fall squarely in that much-talked about “high-end” category or much-revered “low cost but decent specs” category. Rather, it’s just somewhere in the middle.

This laptop is pretty average when it comes to specs. Measuring in at 15.4-inches, it features a 250GB hard drive, 3GB of DDR2 RAM, a WXGA resolution panel, GMA 4500MHD graphics and a SuperMulti DVD burner. Other features include Wi-Fi, a web-cam that’s built-in and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR. And that’s really about it.

This laptop from Toshiba may seem to be the ultimate solution focused on the business market. But today, we are all aware that the business sector is aching for various demands as far as mobile computing is concerned. And from the past years, we all know that Toshiba has focused its genre in the business market although some people may want to have it for some other purpose.
