PCExtreme FragFest 2003 is less than 2 weeks away now. This is the first LAN party of this size that I have ever hosted, and let me tell you, it has been a learning experience from day one. There is WAY more involved with an event of this size than I even imagined, as everything that could have possibly gone wrong probably has. But with the help of numerous friends and even the sponsors themselves, I have managed to pull it all together and I think anyone that attends FragFest 2003 is in for one hell of a good time.
We managed to get several thousand dollars worth of prizes together that will be given away to the tournament winners and also as door prizes. Everyone who attends will likely leave with some nice swag. There is one prize that I am particularly proud of, and I wanted to show it off a bit before it is given away at FragFest. I call it the ExtremeBox. It was designed by me, and produced by Sunbeam. It is their clear acrylic case, laser etched with the PCExtreme FragFest 2003 logo on each side, and PCExtreme on the front bezel. They included enough CCFLs and CCFL fans to light this baby up like a christmas tree, and it is beautiful!

All together, this box is worth well over $300 and it's just one of about 7 cases we have to give away, not to mention all the vid cards,
mobos, fUnc 1030 pads, MouseWax, Aquarius II H20 System, PowMax Power supplies and UPS systems, X-Trac pads, and 20 copies of 3DMark03 Pro, and all the other swag that we will give away!
