First, I would like to thank Custom Cases for supplying the case for review. This is the first review I have done since the re-opening of the site, so I'm glad to be getting back to into the loop!
This review is also going to be a bit different, because I have employed the help of my son, Tanner. This is noteworthy, because he disassembled his own PC, and reassembled it in the new case - and Tanner is 11 years old. And, yes it fired right up and ran flawlessly after it was complete! But, enough of my bragging, lets get down to business...
The package
The box is pretty standard - with the case packed nicely in styrefoam.
The case - 1st look
Gone are the days of the beige box. This case is silver, with nice chrome accents.
Check out the stylish chrome power button, and a CD/DVD bay cover that has a flip-down door, so you can hide your CD/DVD drive without having to paint it. This is a very cool feature!
The side panels have slotted vents for good ventilation, and the rear has some as well.
One very nice feature of this case is that the side panel is held in place with thumb screws which eliminates the need for a screwdriver.
