Page 1 - Page2 - Page3. Makes the Louvre look like a Kindergarten Fingerpainting Collection. There is nothin' more exciting than plugging in the Dremel, capturing small woodland creatures and...err..I mean stuffing as many 120MM YS tech's as humanly possible in that new HX08. But no Casemod Procedure would be complete without pictures. This is a MUST. A plan would be nice too, but not really necessary. Think your case puts my Q3A rig to shame? Think even if it did I would admit to it? The answer to both is probably not, but hey, might as well try. Send those pics to the ModLab and they will be posted! Send two detailed pics along with your name, email, theme, and your homepage (if any). -Dwayne ![]() NAME: Jay Kania - Abbott E-MAIL: abbott3600@hotmail.com THEME: "Tricked out Addtronics 7896A Server Tower. ![]() Ahh.... A man after our own taste! THis is a very tight, clean H2O system. No bulky water tank, and a well placed, thin radiator. Nice clean job on the air intakes too! Beautiful job! - Bad Attitude
NAME: Rahul Mukherjee E-MAIL: rahul.m@duke.edu THEME: "I just built this computer in the past month... Ordered all parts from Pricewatch.com--got a pretty good deal I think. In terms of cutting, for the window kit cut through the metal side panel, I just used a dremel. This is my first time doing this ever, and the thing to remember with the window kit is that it really doesnt matter if the cut isn't perfect (or even if its bad :), because the rubber lining will completely compensate for that. Just try to take your time...you'll get used to the dremel very quickly if that's what you decide to use. For the 9x9cm fan cut within the acryllic, my friend and each chipped in $10 and bought a 92mm circular attachment to use in conjunction with a drill press. This gave us a perfect circle, and took less than 15 seconds to cut :) Hope you enjoyed!" HomePage: None Yet.

NAME: foxmulder E-MAIL: knutzen@netscape.net THEME: "Here is a pic of my first casemod. I just got finished with it and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. The large Opening in the top in for the radiator. Right now I only have a water cooling block for the cpu so I'm aircooling it till the blocks for the gpu and nb arrive so I can run the whole thing on water (At which time I will also get rid of that annoying mess of cables)." WOW! That top vent original, and very mean looking. It is hard to believe that this is a first case mod. Very nice job on the front air intake too! - Bad Attitude NEXT PAGE ![]() Want your PC case mod posted here? Send it in! Here at PC Extreme we take modifications very seriously. Some see it as a vent, others just need something to do. Some of us do it to be the envy of all our friends. There's nothing better than to show up at a LAN with the sweetest looking case, right? Even though you don't have any game... We at PCX look at "Modding" as a way of life. Some ask why we overclock, or spend tremendous amounts of money on extreme cooling and potentially hazardous materials just to make a component go a little faster. You can buy the faster one cheaper than all of the cash you dropped on the supplies for this one. All overclockers have heard this from our friends. Are we the crazy ones? Maybe. I, personally think that they just aren't on our higher level of thinking. People like us (overclockers, hardcore modders, just like taking stuff apart) are the great inventors of the world. Innovative and determined, we stop at nothing to achieve our goals, and this is why only a select few can hold the respective title. Never give up. Now start your pumps, fasten your Waterblocks, get out there and Overclock. -Abb |
