My Computer’s acting a bit weird these past few days, When I opened up my Windows Explorer to check for hidden files (usually the first thing I do if I suspect a virus in my PC) my “Show Hidden Files and Folders” in the Folder Options dialog is missing. Probably due to a spyware infestation I had recently, got it cleaned up though, and it may have something to do with a previous problem I had with my Disabled Task Manager
You know when you open the Windows Explorer look for the Menu bar which is hidden by default in Windows Vista (press alt to show the menu) Tools -> Folder Options then choose the View tab, If the “Hidden Files and Folders” radio button is there no need to do this tweak but if it’s missing then do this steps:
- Click the Start Orb -> go to the Run Dialog
- On the Run Dialog -> type Regedit
- On Regedit go to these values
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\explorer\Advanced\Folder\Hidden
Look for a key named ‘Type’ (without the quotes) on the right-hand side, change the value to ‘group‘ (without the quotes)as shown above. If the key ‘Type’, is missing then create a new String value. Name it ‘Type’ (without the quotes), set its value to ‘group’ (without the quotes). and that should do it. Presto You’re done.

My answer !
Just now i Fix this problem in my computer.
first i be halpped from other answer at several sites, include this one. and thanx for that.
if is same problem, the Key ‘Hidden’ is missing from registry. [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\explorer\Advanced\Folder\Hidden]
what you have to do is - go to normal computer, (with same system), nevigate to this pass and and on right click
on the ‘Hiden’ key. choose ‘export’.
save the reg file on your computer.
and mark the ‘folder’ key in the registry.
and in the toolbar choose File/Import.
choose the Reg file from when you saved it.
and its must be working.

To enable
show hidden files and folder from being disable due to virus or registry error follow the ff steps
1- Click start > Run > type regedit to run Windows Registry Editor.
2- Go to following address: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows/Current Version/Explorer/Advanced/Folder/Hidden/SHOWALL
3- In the right panel double click on “CheckedValue” and change value from 0 to 1. Click ok and then exit Windows Registry Editor and restart your computer.
4- Now open Folder Option ( My Computer > View menu > Folder Options)
5- Go to the View tab, in “Hidden files and folders” section, check “Show hidden files and folders” and then close Folder Option.
You can now view all your hidden files.
