Removing the Annoying Delete Confirmation Dialog

Ever had the time when you have to delete a file and everytime you do an annoying pop-up tells, “Are you sure you want to move this file to the Recycle Bin?” not which in turn gives doubt that maybe you’re trying to delete the wrong file sometimes it’s a good thing, to prevent accidents, but can be a pain if you’re cleaning up unwanted files.

  • right-click on the Recycle Bin
  • choose Properties from the menu.
  • Recycle Bin Properties dialog
  • uncheck “Display delete confirmation dialog”

This tweak removes the delete confirmation but it doesn’t permanently delete the file. And you’re done, but after a long busy day of cleaning up your computer from trash and unused (unwanted) files. Maybe it’s time you enable it back, right? SO in order to enable the prompt back again just do the following steps above and remember to put a check on “Display delete confirmation dialog”. Easy ain’t it, now let the annoyance begin.
Now you can use another method, that does not go directly to the Recycle Bin, but it is directly or permanently deletes the file by Pressing the Shift Key + Delete. after you have selected the file(s).
