Lets try the simple stuff first. Lets copy a CD. Since I am always loosing it, I thought my Quake3 Arena CD would be a good test. Its my favorite game, but for some reason I misplace it almost routinely.
The CD tray automaticly pops open to let you insert a blank disc.
You are kindly warned not to launch any other applications while the burn process is going on. No fragging while the CD burns? Bummer.
Music CDs.
From the wizard menu, you have 4 choices:
Since it's probably the most popular option, I decided to make a music CD from some MP3 files.
RecordNow MAX now offers to find music files on your hard drive, to make things easier for you.
It didn't find a single one of my MP3s. It just found WAV files, mostly Windows sounds. I would skip this option.
The next thing RecordNow MAX offers to do, is to identify the songs you have selected. This works for commercial CD tracks, but not so well for MP3 files.
I selected 8 different MP3s, and let her rip.
