3DMark 2001SE:
Stock Siluro Ti4200-8X OTES.
Ti4200-8X OTES overclocked to 300/525.
Stock Ti4400.
Stock Ti4600.
As you can see here, the overclocked Ti4200-8X OTES falls short of the stock Ti4400 by more than 1000 3D marks, and the overclock only produced an additional 313 marks. We could not get the card to overclock at all using ABIT's drivers that shipped with the card, but switching to the 40.72 Detonator drivers let us get to 290Mhz core and 525 memory clock. According to these numbers, the OTES card should have outperformed a stock Ti4400, but it didn't.
[H]ardOCP UT2K3 Benchmark:
Stock Siluro Ti4200-8X OTES.
Stock Siluro Ti4200 64MB.
In the Unreal Tournament 2003 benchmark, the OTES scores a bit better than the stock Ti4200 which is exactly what we expected. No real surprises here other than the numbers in the "Low FPS" category. The Ti4200 actually pulls ahead on a few maps and we aren't sure why this happened. But, the OTES clearly outperforms the Ti4200 in every other category.

My main objective here was to see the difference in a stock Ti4200, and OTES and to further see if there was any real performance difference between 4X and 8X AGP modes. The results show the expected performance gains of the OTES card over a stock Ti4200, but what is of real interest is that there is virtually no difference in performance between 4X and 8X AGP, at least in this test.
The ABIT SR7-8X bios lets you chose between 4x and 8X AGP modes, and this is how we controlled it for the tests.
