Toshiba comes out with another great laptop to consider getting. Toshiba added to their S300 line today with their Satellite Pro S300-EZ2521. It’s a perfectly decent laptop, but doesn’t fall squarely in that much-talked about “high-end” category or much-revered “low cost but decent specs” category. Rather, it’s just somewhere in the middle.
This laptop is pretty average when it comes to specs. Measuring in at 15.4-inches, it features a 250GB hard drive, 3GB of DDR2 RAM, a WXGA resolution panel, GMA 4500MHD graphics and a SuperMulti DVD burner. Other features include Wi-Fi, a web-cam that’s built-in and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR. And that’s really about it.
This laptop from Toshiba may seem to be the ultimate solution focused on the business market. But today, we are all aware that the business sector is aching for various demands as far as mobile computing is concerned. And from the past years, we all know that Toshiba has focused its genre in the business market although some people may want to have it for some other purpose.
Toshiba has always been a reliable and dependable brand in the world of mobile computing. And with new powerful tablet PCs and notebooks in the market today, what makes Toshiba stand out is of course its brand name which has been a familiar one for the past decade.
And while Toshiba is sure to get its share of buyers who prefer their brand, they have made sure by boosting the actual processors with Centrino technology. They have actually announced three new tablet PCs, all based on the M750 model and offering Intel Core 2 Duo processors, LED backlit displays and standard WiFi a/g/n.
The Toshiba Portégé M750-S7211, Portégé M750-S7212 and Portégé M750-S7213 have 2GB of DDR2 memory, 160GB hard-drives (5,400rpm in the case of the S7211, 7,200rpm in the other two versions) and a 12.1-inch XGA display with digital pen input.
“Administrators, teachers and students can feel confident with their computer purchase as Toshiba delivers the Portégé M750 with full performance processors, upmost security, functional features and generous warranty coverage,” said Carl Pinto, vice president of Product Development & Marketing, Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc., Digital Products Division. “Additionally, the Portégé M750 series is among the greenest available with its EnergyStar 4.0 and RoHS Compliance and its Gold EPEAT rating.”
Toshiba has always been a reliable notebook brand and despite the commanding prices that it carries, you can be sure that it is reliable as advertised. And adding to the tradition of reliable notebooks being demanded in the market today comes the A305-S6919. With this new model now available expect another rough and tumble scenario as far as mobile device solutions from the leaders is concerned.
Toshiba offers us another great mobile solution with the Toshiba Satellite A305 –S6916. Offering good performance, it has decent speakers and touch multimedia controls. The Toshiba Satellite A305-S6916 offers up a unique design, slightly better graphics performance than the competition, and a couple fun extras that make paying more for it worthwhile.
The A305-S6916 features Toshiba’s high-gloss Fusion finish, with a pattern it calls Kinetic. It’s definitely eye-catching and sets it apart from more straightforward-looking budget laptops. The laptop is fairly thick and made even thicker by the extended battery that’s included. Instead of adding to the depth by putting the cells at the back, they’re on the bottom, lifting the entire package up off your desktop.
