My laptop (dell inspiron 3800) doesn't have a CMOS jumper. IS there anything I can do to reset this in my case?

You could also move the cmos jumper from pins 1 and 2 to 2 and 3 (usually the standard). Of course you want to do this when the computer is off, wait about twenty seconds, then put it back in the original position. This will usually reset the bios to its factory setting. Likewise this means you have to reconfigure all of your settings.
